Hyaline Collagen Peptide is a highly purified, odourless and tasteless powder form of collagen hydrolysate. It dissolves easily in water and can be taken daily.

Collagen is the major structural component of skin, comprising about 80% of the dry weight of skin. The natural ageing process, excessive sunlight and poor nutrition depletes collagen fibre from the dermis of the skin resulting in a breakdown of the epidermis. This can create wrinkles and a loss of elasticity.

Collagenous protein also makes up 70% of cartilage mass. Wear and tear of joint cartilage brought about by age, over exercise and stressed joints depletes collagen in cartilage.

Compared to other proteins, collagen hydrolysate contains high amounts of Proline and Glycine – the amino acids involved in collagen synthesis.
