The salt for maintaining fluid balance in the body Natrium chloratum regulates the fluid distribution within the body and is useful in all sorts of fluid imbalances which can present as an excess or deficiency of water. Main areas of application Water deficiency (including dry skin, constipation, dry mucous membranes) Water loss (for example diarrhoea, runny nose or vomiting) Water excess or retention (such as oedema, blisters containing watery fluids) Dissolve the tablets slowly in the mouth and if required, the tablets may be dissolved in some water. Keep an interval of at least 30 min. to meals. The usual dose is 1 tablet 1 – 3 times daily.
